your card is over heating and artifact. clean the cooler and apply some new thermal paste, i can walk you over what you need to do.

if the computer was bought as is, send the card in for a new one, sometimes cards just die. if you built the computer yourself, RMA it.

Can still see it's Seine Crossing, so you can still play.

However, I would do as Afro recommended:
If it's a new card with warranty, send it back. Else, fix it yourself. Plenty of tutorials on fixing online, and Afro could walk you through it.

That is most definitively artifacting of your graphics card, honestly the best way to solve this problem is to update your card, unless of course the one you have is up to par and just overheating. If its just happening when the gpu is under a heavy load (eg. in games) its not defective etc. it just getting a little to hot and flipping out. Might want to check it out soon as continuing to use it like that with most likely damage your gpu.

I agree with what has been said. You can try increasing your gpu fan speed manually, which you may need to google. I've done it when I had an ATI card using the built-in overclocking utility that comes with the radeon drivers.

Update your drivers if you haven't already done so.

You may also want to consider calling your video card manufacturer, especially if the card is still under warranty. Good luck!

Welcome to the site! Which model ATI card do you have if I may ask? Here's the link to ATI's driver download page -it's pretty straightforward. Good luck!
