How about the personality;

I’m fairly reserved until certain buttons are pushed. I have been told I’m very intimidating when pissed off. I’m mostly quiet. I don’t feel the need to talk just to hear my own voice. If I have something worth saying I’ll say it. If I have a few drinks in me though I don’t know when to shut up if someone gets me started. You can tell if I have had a few beers or drinks because I talk much more. I do not usually wine or cry about stuff unless it’s really bothersome. In general I can come off as a little cranky, because of my personality.

Sooo what are those buttons I mentioned? I have no tolerance for ignorant behavior especially when the acts are selfish and to the detriment of others. I care very little for immature behavior. Don’t tell me to “STFU Noob” that really goes up my ass quick. I have no (zero) patience for people that do not treat others with respect. Common courtesy is dying at a fast rate. If I hold the door open for you, say “thanks”. That old lady coming out of the store hold the door open for her and do not shove past her! I can get road rage; I do not like other drivers on the road. They are all morons. Come drive in RI and you will see what I mean.

I am loyal to the end. Or until you piss me off. If I consider you worth it, I guarantee you will find me backing you up all the time. I have more than once put my ass and life on the line for a good friend, and would do it again.

I love to play Disc Golf

I LOVE movies.

I enjoy board gamming, but not the crappy games that can be bought at Wal-Mart made by Parker Brothers and Hasbro. There is a whole sub culture out there of board game players and collectors. There are thousands of different titles of games. I guarantee no matter what type of personality you are I can match a board game to it that you will enjoy. I spend too much time at work on Boardgamegeek.com.

I hike mountains in N.H. with my fiancé in my free time. I have been climbing since I was 18 and have done many peaks in New England. My fiancé and I are currently attempting to climb all 48 of the 4000 ft plus peaks in the White Mountains.

I used to hunt whitetail deer hence the screen name “avidhunter”

Random Tidbits

1) I have enough college credits from the 4 different career paths I have taken and not finished to be a doctor. They are in order… Machine Design, Culinary Arts, Business Management, Hotel Management, Accounting
2) I was supposed to be in the 10th Mountain Special Forces Division. I was about to sign the dotted line and go to basic when I developed a kidney problem and was medically declined from the Army
3) Used to Skate a 10’ ½ pipe with semi pro skaters that I built in my parents back yard.
4) Played a season of indoor arena flag football, until I dislocated my shoulder.
5) I used to ski and snowboard
6) I wear a kilt on special occasions and dare you to call it a skirt to my face… really go ahead I dare ya…
7) I hate Basketball
8) I love Rugby. American Football is ok but real men play rugby. No sissy pads and helmets. No clock or play stoppage unless someone is bleeding on the field. Learn the game watch it and you will never regret it.
9) I’m a really bad liar.
10) I need to learn to tell white lies because sometimes people don’t want to hear the true answer to the question they asked.
11) I once made a Shrimp Scampi for George Forman… really I’m serious I did.

Ok, I really like this guy. I am Scottish too and I think that a lot of our personality traits are very common in people of Scottish heritage. I hate morons, I don't talk for myself, and I have a lot of respect for others. I feel like I just want to drive to RI just to hang out with you, but that is unrealistic because I am only 16 and live in Arizona. Haha. It is really nice to have you in the clan.
