When?- The tournament matches will begin the week after Christmas and will continue through January until it is complete.
Where?- Ventrilo, duh
What maps should I practice on?- Any 2 or 4 player map and Open Palms is fair game. Since I am officiating I will release what map you will be playing on a day before your match.
What is the structure of this Tournament?- Your match will be given a time and date. You have roughly a 10-15minute window to show or your forfeit (Unless you could not show due to some inconvienience like you died or something). A rematch may be rewarded if and only if the other person in the match agrees to it, if that person does not agree to a rematch they win. 4 People will advance to the semi-finals. Those 4 will play a round against each other (3 games basicly). The 2 who come out on top advance to the finals. They will fight it out, who ever wins is the champion.
How should I practice?- The best possible way to practice is to play a person, preferrably one better or the same caliber as you. I am willing and able to show anyone a stradegy of thei choice. All you got to do is this: "Hey (insert valk/ CybranLoyalist here), can you show me how to play (insert stradegy here, ex: airwhore, land whore, naval whore, defend against air whoring, how to be frisky with my commander, etc.)." Then I will gladly do it!
How do I join this tournament!?- Post in this thread that you are willing and able to play! You MUST post in this thread, I honstly will not remember if you tell me in ventrilo.
