Valk about your first post...

Living things can come from non living things, take viruses for example. Of course there is a high probability that somewhere int his universe life had to happen (aren't we all just chemicals arranged in a certain order anyways?)

Conscious decision is just a way of saying "it's too damn complex" just like saying somethings random, there's always a cause / effect sometimes there are too many variables and we end up calling it random. Your brain operates based on past experiences and current external stimuli as well as hardwired decision patterns. There is no free will technically speaking however you'd probably get really depressed thinking about that so you don't, it's part of your instinctual decision to feel "in control". I believe your existence and the importance of everything that ever existed lie upon your brain and senses being active. without that you have nothing. eventually computers will surpass the function of a human brain and that day will be very interesting because we won't know if they should be treated as animals or objects. we have yet to define what conscious is even. In fact we could all be computer programs running on some server in a kids basement (sorta like tron) or it could be more matrix like but knowing these things doesn't help anyone. Just like in the matrix, why would anyone want to leave to the world outside of it?

"what is real, If you mean what you can feel touch or taste, it's all just electrical impulses running through your brain"-Morpheus, The Matrix

in conclusion... ignorance is bliss!

The Big bang is sketchy when it comes to the "nothing was there". There are actually two theories competing for #1. The first one, which is again, the infinitely small particle that expands into the universe that we know today. And we have proof about the universe expanding, and everybody that has turned on a radio has seen ( heard ) it. Static is actually 1/18ths the echo of the Big Bang. The second theory is the Membrane theory. Where two enormous sheets collide and inject each other with energy that expands into the energy. Nasa is going to prove one of these theories by trying to sense the waves of gravity in space. If barely any waves are caught, then the membrane theory wins. Now evolution. Micro evolution is simple, many types of dogs but all of them are dogs. But macro is difficult to prove or understand for that matter. Macro is when all dogs turn into whatever they will evolve into. Every single of them, not exactly. All of those that evolve will push all remaining dogs into extinction. Basically bigger (or smaller), faster, and stronger. Now for the reasons why monkeys or Apes have not evolved is for the simple fact that they don't have to at the moment. Again, they can't at the very moment, for it will take at minimum, millions of years. There is a lizard at the moment that has tiny limbs, which barely uses. And scientist can see that the lizard is evolving but will not become a full blown snake for another million years. Finally, the reason why the Apes back then evolved into human is because of two reasons. Sex and food. We stand upright for the fact that the female counterpart wanted sex standing up. And because of food but that was the second thing.
